Inferno

Dan Brown's 4th novel and one of the most awaited one - 'Inferno'. This is the novel which starts in a difference pace than the rest. Yes we do have our favourite Robert Langdon but then the mystery is half solved by someone when we start reading the book.

As the story progresses, with various twists and turns we come to know about the memory loss Langdon suffered and it is the same case which he had ALMOST solved the previous night and which gave him a near death experience is taken up from the start right again the next day onwards and ended up in the same track.

For a change it is not just about church, numbers, beliefs etc it is also about the whole world and issue our world is facing (to face) now and in near future. As always there were facts and fiction which are little hard to accept or digest but that is how Dan Brown's books are.

The story twines mainly on Dante and trust. The description of 'Inferno' was truely fearful. It was as fearful as the description of punishments in Garuda Purana (if not more).

The novel is slower than usual, bigger (pages) than usual but a best seller as usual.

Inferno - slow walk to the most dreaded (anicipated) 'hell'

Score: 3.6/5
