The best-seller written by Lauren Wesiberger. It is better understood by girls and it is all about fashion. The protagonist Andrea is a fresher who dreamt of becoming a newspaper writer. But the first job she landed in was for a very famous fashion magazine 'Runway' which every girl read apparently every girl in the country EXCEPT Andrea read. The story is about her 1 year in that office.
The devil mentioned in the title of the novel is Miranda Priestly whose personal assistant was Andrea. The extremely demanding Miranda was capable of ordering and expecting impossible tasks from her assistants (there were two and the junior was Andrea).
The story explains the pain and pressure faced by Andrea because of her job and how much she lost till she said enough. You will never feel that the story has ended when you read the last few pages. So surely waiting for the sequel. The novel has been adapted as a movie which was also a huge hit.
