Women's Day Special - 2015

Happy women's day - these words , statuses & posts are to make women happy but all it does is make us smirk.

We wish we could be happy & accept your wishes wholeheartedly. We wish we could accept the fact that we are adored only one day in 365 days. We wish we could say that men rule this world & not just our hearts. We wish we could stay quiet & do as said... We wish too... If we were not born as humans...

To most men out there who are active for 16 hours a day, try to live our life which stretches 20 hours a day - then you will respect women.

We can't sleep even if we wish to & even if we are medically ought to sleep more hours than men, we need to cook though the world knows men are better cooks than women. Some of us don't cook not because we don't but because we can't - not everyone can do everything.

we need to make the house a home - some of us are obsessed with cleanliness & can't stand a spot of dirt while some of us can live in a dustbin like a queen.

Some of us go to office not because we need money but because we like to be independent & give you your space while some of us don't because we are tired of your 'women should stay at home' drama.

Some of us study because we love to know answers to questions while some of us don't because we want to take care of disabled men & family back home who need us to tale care of them.

Some of us have friends because we love to care for people while some of don't because we prefer being alone.

Some of us get married because we either trust the guy or our parents who chose the guy while some of us don't as we feel we love ourselves more & not make someone else responsible for our lives.

Some of us have kids because we adore them so much & some of us don't because we adore other's kids soo much & not sure if men in our lives are as strong as we are.

Some of us ride bikes while some don't- just like you. Some of us wear makeup while not the others - just like you. Some of us are choosy about our dress& styles while are not - just like you.

We stand the drama at home, school/college and at work. We don't cry when the world get gloomier but we do when we lose our favorite earring. We fight for a cause even against the world but become submissive once we enter our house.

We do not need you to create a cleaner home instead of us but we want you to support when we do that. We don't want you to cook for us, we want you just not eat everything we make & let us go to bed in hunger. We don't want you to send us money or work for us, we just want you to let us work just like we let you. We don't want you to accept & mingle with all our friends, we just want you not to show faces to them. We don't want you to fight our superiors when they become men-centric at work, we just want you to ask 'how was the day' when we reach home. We don't want you to carry the kid for us, it is a boon given to us- we just want you to change diapers. We don't want you to write expenses, we just want you to tell us the truth when we make monthly budgets. We don't want you to like/share/praise our memes/ statuses/pictures, we just want you to understand we do it for our own relaxation & not comment ill regarding it. We don't want you to stay at home all the time; we just want you to tell us when you’ll be back home & attend our calls. We don't want you to visit us every day; we just wish you don't ask us to move to an old age home.

We are women - remember we will always be the one to open the door for you when you are in trouble - as a sister, friend, lover, wife, mother, daughter, grandma, niece, aunt & in law. We are better at playing games but we just don't because we trust you. We hope you don't look at us as a weaker sex/physical pleasure/emotional pain/servant.

Remember the next time you wear those shorts & tight tees, you may very well get raped but you are not so look at those women's reactions & please follow it when you see us dressed like you did.

Just because we are born without the 'Y' & with one extra 'X' chromosome we cannot be ignored. We don't need your approval, we need our space & we need your support just like you need ours for everything.
