‘MAY’yil Mazhai – Part 6

The usual 9.00PM call came from Vikas. I was alone at home, and the conversation started.
Me: Hello
Vikas: Hello
Me: Haiiiiiiiiii
Vikas: (serious tone) Where are you?
Me: Home where else? You called my landline remember?
Vikas: I meant where in the house
Me: Hall why?
Vikas: Doing what?
Me: folding the dried clothes.
Vikas: Go to your room and tell me
Me: why?
Vikas: Do what I say
Me: Ok Fine…… Yes in room now what?
Vikas: I LOVE YOU
Me: WHAT??
Vikas: Radi said me the whole conversation you people had. I know you like me now don't try to lie.
Me: Of course I like you. Did I ever say that I love you? I don't believe in love – r should I say I don't believe in love which never happens to me at first sight. I believe in fairy tale. To be love is adventurous where I have no idea about that guy. He just comes in front of me and stands and smiles and says hi to me. And I fall for him head over heels without knowing ANYTHING about him. And I will dance with him, dream about him every second and die to live with him every breath of mine. He will be silent and sweet and friendly. We will never say that we love each other but we would like crazy forever. We would stay as best friends and one day when the time comes he would propose me with Nicholas Sparks Novel and a yellow rose in a beach, or maybe a dairy milk or Natura along with it too. And then I smile and kiss him and we would live happily ever after. You
Vikas: This never happens in real life
Me: true. But if you think well you will understand that, that is how it will happen in an arranged marriage or if I am too lucky I may find such a love in love marriage too. But it is never you.
Vikas: Ok so listen.
Me: What?
