A Bend in the road

Nicholas Spark's novel. And so it is surely about love. But not the kind of love which makes your heart melt and make you to squeeze out every little drop of tear you can possibly shed, this time it is a little different because of the murder mystery.

Miles Ryan lost his High school love, his love of his life and also his wife. She was dead - or murdered ?!. And after years of sleepless nights the sheriff (Miles) still couldn't find what exactly happened to his wife. He tried to move on, and finally after 2 years fell in love with a divorcee (Sarah) but he never stopped looking for the person who killed (Miles always thought it was a murder and not just a car accident) his wife.

The story has so many twists and turns. Miles is portrayed as a typical guy who hurts people with his words in anger and stops thinking straight. Sometimes it makes you so irritated and would make you shout 'Come on stop being so mean'. But then the climax proves us that he is always a nice person and a human with humanity and big heart.

A bend in the road - small mistakes - big regrets - bigger pain - and still we travel, Thanks to love.
Score: 3.6
