Fear of Rejection

It all started with :

Age 5:
So the teacher asks a question - I guess I know the answer - Shall I answer it? What if he says I'm wrong? will people around me laugh?

Age 7:
I have a doubt - Should I ask in front of everyone? What if I'n the only one who don't know the answer? What if I turn up looking dumb?

Age 10:
I like this toy - Shall I ask dad? Will he say no?

Age 14:
Wow this dress is awesome - Should I take it? Or will my sis love it and ask for it? will it be too costly?

Age 15:
Hey that guy is cute - Shall I go and speak with him? What if he doesn't like me?

Age 18:
I want to do Fasion desinging - Will my parents allow? Do people take it up as a main profession?

Age 21:
I want to study - Is it ok to study while all my friends are working? Will my parents fund? Is it possible to balance it with life?

Age 23:
I like this guy - Will my parents understand my thoughts? Will my society approve?

Such questions keep flying around us forever unless and until we ask them out. We will never get anyone to say yes unless we're willing to take the risk that they'll say no. To get the answer we seek,We must ask.  When we ask, yes there is the possibility of rejection. And though rejection may seem like something to avoid, just think of a second is it Really so bad? If we are prepared for the worst then anything is acceptable and everything brings in happiness.

And remember What's much, much worse is to live in fear of rejection. When we never even ask, the answer is always no.  What if we could simply let go of that fear of rejection? The fact is, we can. Some people will value what we say, what we do, what we Seek, and other people won't. Always remember that if someone doesn't approve our deeds then it is their concern, not ours. Choose to do what we know is worthy and what we know is Best. Let go of the useless and limiting fear of rejection,And feel the freedom to truly soar.
