Vikas: You are living in dreams.

 

Me: Every girl does. And I have always been lucky in life.

 

Vikas: But this just your expectation and even you know it yourself that not everything you expect will be satisfied.

 

Me: Hmmm.

 

Vikas: So All I am asking you is to give us a chance. You want an impossible love. But I am here to give you love which is possible and truthful. This is reality.

 

Me: I am not convinced

 

Vikas: Well you don’t have to be. Someday sometime you ARE going to get married. What if that guy is me? I am just saying a known devil is better than an unknown angel. Think it over. I will get the girl I fell for and you will have your adventure more or less the same way you expected. Just promise me you will try.

 

Me: ….

 

Vikas: Hello, are you there?

 

Me: yeah

 

Vikas: So ?

 

Me: ok

 

Vikas: Cool J So you are my girl and I am your friend. Bye. Good Night.

 

He hanged the phone. I was blank. It was surely the start of worst days of my life. Did I just tell him ok? That was all I could think. What was wrong with me? Why did I say so? Is it even possible – whatever he said? What am I got myself into? I was sure that I had gone mad by then. I decided I would have a clear talk directly with him the next day. But then the next day when I entered the class, everyone was clapping and he had written on the board “Love you my Dearest Ranya – Thank you”. I pulled him outside the class and asked him what that was for? But then my Computer Science teacher saw us and asked me to come and meet her in staff room. I had to go immediately.
