2011 - Leaving so soon?

I almost wrote 2010- a flashback. Cant believe it 2011 that you reached your end. It was like yesterday when the you were born. Pressure tension and so many hopes and dreams started in my life along with your birth. New atmosphere, a inside look of IT world and its culture, friends and trends... the work and work and work... well to be honest the birth of 2011 was almost too insignificant to me. I was busy waiting for entrance results, and giving some time for heart to get healed in between the work pressure that I almost missed your birth.

And then came the results, more tension, college choosing process, reading every word in the newspapers, preparations, group discussions and interviews, every minute of the spare time dedicated to the most amazing friends one could ever have, birthday bashes, surprises, lunch in every possible restaurant, orphanage and govt school visits, occasional trips to MEPZ to meet special ones, breaking the news to boss and friends, KTs by me to newbies :p , last day at my office, emotional scenes.

One month family trip to amazing places in and near India.

Pre-college meet up, seniors circle friends, more and more fun with them, first day in college, new people, unbelievable personalities, genuine friendship, caring and sharing, little little misunderstanding, Mumbai trip, freshers meet, alumni meet, movies movies and more movies, treat and outings, Dengue, friends at home, all night studies, exams, Samarthan- the bank account, Himalayan tensions and special emotions tied to it, badminton, TT and of-course cricket, Manifest, Abhyudaya, Strides, expectations, hurt, mind boggling politics, intuitions, whatevers, tradings, there is a system there is a procedures, thalapathis friendly sirs and much much more, amazing friends, unforgettable birthday gifts, unexplainable relations, professional debate... Then interview yet again, assignments, tests, preparations and................. A BREAK

Before I could wink my eyes and realize everything I had gone through, you knocked my door to say goodbye. When I said "hey wait I never thought you'll leave so soon", you replied "People who live their life are the ones who don't notice me. You know to enjoy your life so you were too bust to notice me. Never worry because now you have a better 2012 waiting to get in your life and make it even more amazing and am sure you won't notice it too. So cheer up, enjoy the life and not my presence"

And here I'm saying good bye to dear old 2011. Thanks for your words.

BYE 2011. You have turned a huge dream into reality. You'll be cherished in my heart forever :)
